Snap Fitness Armidale Security, Communications and Access Project

Kelso Services were engaged directly by the franchisee to support the completion of works that fell outside the scope of the appointed builder and electrician. With several critical systems requiring specialised trades, our team delivered a complete security, communications, and access solution for the new facility.

Our scope included the supply and installation of 17 CCTV cameras with local recording via a network video recorder, a 100V PA and music system integrated with a client-supplied crowd-catcher system, and a comprehensive intruder alarm system featuring monitored back-to-base capability.

To enhance member and staff safety, we installed fixed and wireless duress buttons, a 24/7 monitored wall-mounted duress phone, and a full access control system to support the gym’s round-the-clock operation.

Given the modern design and brand-new fit-out, careful planning was required to ensure discreet cable pathways, appropriate device finishes, and optimal equipment placement while maintaining the aesthetic of the space.

By working closely with the gym owners and coordinating with other trades, Kelso Services successfully delivered the project on time, on budget, and to a high standard, resulting in a facility that is not only visually impressive but also secure, safe, and fully equipped for 24/7 use.
